It’s Friday! Let’s see what sort of blog-o-riffic blogosity has been served up by the blogosphere this week.
I love Quiznos subs. A bit pricey, but they’re just so tasty. The View from the Nest has a great story about
a Quiznos manager who managed to keep her place going after the owners bugged out, pay checks bounced, and suppliers refused credit.

On the search engine front, for some reason the Crusty Curmudgeon has dropped completely off of Google’s radar. No idea why. But it hasn’t stopped some pretty unusual search strings leading people in my direction:
- camilla parker bowles cleavage: [shudder]
- emma watson’s death threats from fans: Don’t look at me. (Hmmm. Wasn’t Jodie Foster around the same age when John Hinckley Jr. started obsessing with her?)
- The 1968 Movie “2001: A Space Odyssey” May Have Been a Prediction about the Even: I really don’t know what to make of this one. But it led me to this page, which alleges that 2001: A Space Odyssey predicted the events of 9/11 and ultimately cost Stanley Kubrick his life. It seems to have something to do with a repeated 666 motif. The connection is not explained. Nor is how Kubrick could have predicted the collapse of buildings not yet under construction when he began shooting. Nor is why it took Them (whoever They are) 30 years to off him.
